Welfare Aid & Grant Applications
We assist Petaling Jaya residents in navigating and applying for various federal government aid schemes such as JKM Welfare Assistance, MySARA, and others. Our office also provides direct financial assistance to B40 families facing urgent needs. In addition, we offer grants and sponsorships to NGOs, associations, and community organisations based in PJ to support impactful local initiatives that benefit the wider community.
For PJ residents who would like to apply for our financial assistance, please bring the following documents when visiting our office:
- A copy of your IC
- Supporting documents to verify your condition (e.g. medical report or any relevant documents)
- Bank statement
For organisations based in PJ applying for our grants, please prepare and bring the following documents when visiting our office:
- Letter of application
- IC copy of the organisation’s president
- Certificate of registration (e.g. ROS certificate)
- Bank statement
Support for Statelessness
We provide advice and guidance on the application process for those facing statelessness issues. Our office also assists by preparing official supporting letters to strengthen your case with the relevant authorities.
If you’re seeking our help, please bring along all documents you’ve previously submitted to JPN so we can better understand your case and provide accurate support.
Community Complaint Channel
As a parliamentary service centre, we act as a liaison between residents and government agencies to help address community-related issues. Once a complaint is lodged, our team will help forwatd the matter to the appropriate agencies and follow up where necessary.
Free Legal Clinic
Our Legal Clinic offers free legal advice and basic consultation for Petaling Jaya residents, especially those from vulnerable or low-income backgrounds. Operated in collaboration with volunteer lawyers and legal institutions, this service aims to help individuals better understand their rights and explore possible solutions.
